Howdy! Thanks for activating your mmhmm account — we’re glad to have you onboard as a beta tester.
Many of you have already told us about how you’re using mmhmm to have more fun in meetings, create better virtual learning experiences, and make presentations way more interesting.
Whether you’ve already gone deep into the wonderful world of mmhmm or are just looking to get started, we’re here to support you. That’s why we’re launching a new project that will help you test the product, and let us learn more about the interests of our community.
Share “Three Things” you care aboutThree reasons why you need to be counted in the 2020 census. Three ways to organize your sock drawer. Three tips for cooking haggis. We bet you can think of three key points to share about any topic in the world you find interesting.
Creativity is often driven by constraint, so we’re giving you a very simple framework you can interpret any way you like: Just come up with an idea you want to talk about and three things that are interesting about that idea. Below, you’ll find an sample video and a few designed slides to get you started.
Three reasons to make a “Three Things” show
Here’s how it works:
1. Make a “Three Things” show using our designed slides plus any of your own photos or videos that help to illustrate your points. Stick to a length of three minutes or less, keeping in mind the guideline: “Long enough to cover the subject, but short enough to keep it interesting.” (Also a great rule of thumb for your shorts.)
2. Record your show in the mmhmm app and save it as an mp4, like so:
3. Post your video to Twitter and/or Instagram, tag us (@mmhmmapp), and use the hashtag #threethings. We’ll repost your videos as they come rolling in!
4. Shoot us a note at help@mmhmm.app if any questions or issues come up along the way (we are still beta testing, after all).
What does a Three Things show look like?
Kinda like this: “Three Things I Learned About Parenting During The Pandemic”
We can’t wait to see what you create!
